Goals and Backup Plans.

To have a goal is very important. It makes life a bit easier, because in a way, you know what you want and how to get it.
I have many goals, because my mind works very rapidly. I have what people may call "Backup Plans" just in case my first goal fails. I want to be a climatologist. This has to do with me studying the weather in different climates of the world. If this doesnt work out, I'd like to be a therapist. I am good at keeping things to myself, I love to help my friends and family whenever they need me, and I like to help people with problems that they are having about various situations. If plans A and B don't work, I think I may become a Motivational Speaker. I love to influence others with the knowledge that I have and further mine in the process. I have been told (Not that I like to toot my own horn) that I am a very influential person and that I inspire alot of people to not quit and become more than they are. If my A, B,and C plans fail, I'd Like to become a novelist. I love to read and I love to write, So that will work out well. It is important to have a goal and a few Backups incase it fails!

World Corruption and It's People
About this category: Peace & Conflict

The world has become a divided place. Whole countries have turned on each other, Ethnic people have traded on thier own kind, and the foundation of the human race has taken a drastic turn towards the worst. In an efficient way, We are all 1 people: -The Human Rcae-. So, why is it that we have to hurt each other to prive a point? Why is it that we have to rape our women, kill our children, and destroy our entire beings for nothing? Is it the need for power? Respect? Or, had the corruption of the world and -Human Race- become a noted past-time or a just a hooby that we've picked up? Most elders claim that our ("Our" being people of all races younger than 35-50 years of accumulated age and wisdom) current behavior is the reason for the corruption in today's world, But, I say to elders, Were YOU all so different? Most traits that the chldren of today's world possess come from thier line of family. If you and a friend entered a store, and you saw they were stealing, you question them. If they told you that everyone in thier family did it for as long as they could rememeber, what could you say??? Its a trait they were raised on. I say to you (Trusted readers of this posted entry of my blog)What do you believe is the true meaning of the world's corruption? Is it the actions of young adults, or the past actions of thier elders? Do they want power? Respect? What is the meaning of it all??

A Harsh Life...

Depending on the circumstances, many people will tell you that they have a "Harsh Life". But what does this mean??? A "Harsh Life" can have many meanings. Someone could have just lost a job, a loved one, or their entire being because of the chaos they around. But, what is the true meaning of it? If you are robbed on the street, you would be considered to have a "Harsh Life" to some, But to others, you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. On the other hand, Someone may have just lost a spouse, child, or very close friend. The would be considered to have a "Harsh Life" to some, But to others they may just be experiencing death and don't know how to grasp it. What Is YOUR Definition Of A"Harsh Life"???

Global Warming

I dont really think that global warming will affect me in my life time. I mean sure its causing the polar ice caps to melt but it really won't affect the world until later generations where the sea levels rise above where tey are now, submearsing most cities on the coast in water. I thinkto help slow this process we should use less gas for example get a hybrid care instead of a hummer. Also to slow the process you could use solar power instead of gasor oil.

Migration
About this event: 2006 United Nations Conference on Human Rights Migration and Development

Woman migration
The article was about woman migration
The relating article didn’t have any solutions to solve the other one problems
So our solutions are to let it be both men and woman to make it easier and its more helpful.

Labor
Parents had to sell their children for money because they was poor and they couldn’t afford them
Our solutions is that they can fundraise or donate money
Another solution is that they can get more jobs or maybe having school for the kids

My Assignment for Ms. A
About this event: 2006 United Nations Conference on Human Rights Migration and Development

Sub-Saharan Africans are increasingly migrating to North African countries. United States has always been a nation of immigrants while others believe illegal entry and threats to national security are unprecedented. Nicolas Sarkozy succeeded in passing a law that he argues will finally allow the government to control immigration.

Why does the United States accept Immigrants ?

What lead to Immigrants ?

Why do they migrate ?

Poverty and the Rughts of the Child
About this event: 2006 United Nations Conference on Human Rights Migration and Development

Poverty and the Rights of the Child
This story was about how poor parents over in Ghana, West Africa were selling their children to fisherman for money. These children were from ages 3 to 14, there were mostly boys. The children were forced to go under water and put fish nets at the bottom of the rivers so that the fisherman could catch big fish. These children were totured because they barely ate and for their hard labor they were not piad. Some of them died because they drowned.
I want to know:
How old was the children that died?
&
Did the fisherman get arrested for doing this to children?
&
What did the government have to say about this kind of act?

WOMEN IMMIGRATION
About this event: 2006 United Nations Conference on Human Rights Migration and Development
About this category: Human Rights

THE ARTICAL THAT I JUST READ ABOUT WAS ABOUT THE CASE OF WOMEN MIGRATING TO THE UNITED STATES OR ANY WHERE ELSE. ALMOST A HUGE AMOUNT OF THE PEOPLE WHO MIGRATE, ARE WOMEN OF ALL DIFFERENT AGES AND SMALL, YOUNG CHILDREN. 95 MILLION OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE MIGRATED IN THE LAST FOURTY YEARS HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO BE WOMEN. THE AUTHOR OF THE ARTICAL SAID IT WAS IMPORTANT TO GET THE IMFORMATION OUT THERE BECAUSE WHEN WOMEN MIGRATE, THEY DO IT FOR A NOUMEROUS AMOUNT OF REASONS LIKE POVERTY, STARVATION, HOMELESSNESS, AND MUCH MORE. ALTHOUGH IT IS A FACT THAT MEN SEEM TO BE ALMOST MORE LIABLE TO RECIEVE BETTER JOBS AND ALL, WOMEN CAN DO JUST AS GOOD. WOMEN WHO'VE MIGRATED THAT WOTK OVER SEA'S SEND ALMOST EVERYTHING THAT THEY EARN HOME TO THEIR FAMILIES. THIS SHOWS THAT WOMEN CAN DO ALOT MORE THAN MOST PEOPLE THINK.

1. IS IT EVER EASY TO MIGRATE?

2. DO YOU LIKE THE PLACE THAT YOU MIGRATE TO?

3. DO YOU FACE ANY DISCRIMINATION WHEN YOU MIGRATE?

4. DO YOU EVER FEEL ANY REGRETS TOWARDS YOUR MIGRATION?

Immigration and Me
About this event: 2006 United Nations Conference on Human Rights Migration and Development

Immigration affects me everday. I mean every where I go I come across an immigrant, whether it be at the local corner store , construction site, or just on the street. This affects me , through the fact that I dont judge on for their race. Also if it were not for immigrant I and most other people would not be here today.

News Media Seminar

When listening to the media, you really dont know if you are really getting the whole truth. Most of the time you probably arent. You can get the whole story by doing research and getting answer from a different source. The internet can be used to conduct research on the topic and get the whole truth from other sources.

Interacting with Literature

1. What information can you gather about the society that is depicted in this story?
In Huckleberry Finn the community is close nit, I mean the Widow Douglas took Huckleberry in as her own after thinking of him as a lost soul looking for guidance.

2. What influences can you see impact the life of the characters as they are growing up (religious, political, social, and familial?)
In Huckleberry Finn he is mostly impacted by his friend Tom who gets him to do things that could be harmful. In Kim, the main character is impacted the most by religion seeing as though there really isn’t anyone else he can rely on.

3. Who is the narrator of the story? Is the view biased or limited in some way? Why do you believe this to be true?
The narrator of Huckleberry Finn is Huckleberry. I do think his views are biased I mean the way he talks about Jim; he calls him nigger Jim instead of Jim because he is black. I believe this to be true because he talks about all of the Africans like that

4. If you think it is a third party telling the story, justify your answer, with examples from the text.

5. Can this text be seen as a historical document? Why and why not? Justify your response. ( For example: Do you see a connection/parallel between Kim’s wonderment as he watches events unfold before him , and the details of the Wonder House( Ajaib Ghar) in the Lahore Museum? )
I don’t think that this text could be seen as an historical, even though there are some
parts that may have been based on past events. Huckleberry Finn could not be an historical document because most of what is happening in front of him were created from the imagination of Mark Twain.

Violence
About this event: I Can, I Will...Step Up, Stop the Violence March

Most of the violence commited that I have heard of were for foolish reasons like bumping into one another and not saying excuse me. I mean some people are very quick to attack with little reason to.But then there are th ones who are the victims, who are looking for revenge. Its like people dont understand that when you retaliate you are only creating more bloodshed. There are times when you should just let it roll and keep going.

You Learn Something New Everyday

Hello i am a student at high school of the future and i am in the 9th grade. Today in history class my fellow students and i watched a movie called Journey of a Man. The movie was very deep and i find it very cool how the Bible may teach you one thing about how humans came about this earth and, when you go to school you learn other wise. The movie explamed to me how man came from a ape and that long ago we had no sex. We all came from Africa and then movie on in groups from place to place. DNA is very powerful ! My only question is if the world could see this tap do you think racism wouldnt be any longer ?
